This list of newspapers is grouped by the county in which the newspaper was published. Many titles are no longer published. The files of newspapers on microfilm are incomplete. The dates shown don't reflect continuous coverage as there are missing issues in some titles.
The Oklahoma Historical Society has the most complete files in the state. It was from them that the Library System purchased the microfilm. Newspapers being published will be kept up-to-date by the Library System.
- Washita County newspapers on microfilm are located in the Cordell Public Library.
- Dewey County newspapers on microfilm are located in the Seiling Public Library.
- Custer County newspapers on microfilm are located in the Clinton Public Library, with the exception of the Weatherford newspapers which are located in the Weatherford Public Library.
- Roger Mills County newspapers on microfilm are located in the Cheyenne Public Library.
There is a microfilm reader at each of these locations. Rolls of microfilm will be sent for patron use to those libraries where readers are located and may be used IN THE LIBRARY, BUT MAY NOT BE CHECKED OUT.
