One thousand books?

Yes, you read that right, and you can do it,

but let WPLS help!

It doesn’t matter if your child is three, or just three months – there’s no better time to start than now! Take that motivation, open one book, and get started.

And remember, 1000 is just a number. The goal is to work reading aloud into your regular routine, and let the magic of stories do the rest.

This reading challenge for children ages 0-5 years of age. This is the digital companion challenge for the 1,000 Books Badge Book.

No book? No problem! Log each time you read a book to earn awesome badges.

Remember that you must have a WPLS Library Card to participate in this challenge.

 

You are also able to count books that are read to your child at Storytime in your local library, which is every Tuesday at 10:00 am. Follow the link for you library to discover a list of the books that your librarian has read at each Storytime event:
